- 50ml of Penderyn Madeira Buy now
- 4-6 green apple slices
- 20ml of spiced welsh honey syrup (cinnamon & cloves)
- 10ml of fresh lemon juice
- 25ml of white grape juice
In a mixing glass muddle the red apple slices and the honey syrup. Add the bitters and the whisky; fill with ice and shake for 10 seconds. Fine strain into a chilled martini glass, garnish with a thin slice of apple floating on top.
A warm greeting to the grape notes from the Madeira finish of the whisky. The apple and honey spiced with cloves and cinnamon, complimenting the raisins found in the Penderyn.
