It's hard to know where to begin with the story of Penderyn Distillery in 2014 with so much going on at the distillery and with our family of brands.
In a press release by the Welsh Government on 9th October, Penderyn distillery was congratulated by Economy Minister Edwina Hart on our contract to supply whisky to Taiwan.
After a hugely successful first year, The Liquor Market 2014, a part of the Manchester Food and Drink Festival will be held in the decadent surroundings of Deansgate's Elixir, Tonics & Treats bar, one of Manchester’s newest venues, on 27th September.
Two new pot-stills and the mash tun have arrived at the distillery to mark the proper start of the second phase of our expansion in less than 12 months.
2013 has been a busy and productive year here at Penderyn. As you might have read in the press we have spent a lot of time setting up our expansion plans for the distillery and having built stock and relocated our bottling line from the main distillery building to our annex warehouse, we commissioned Penderyn’s second whisky still in August 2013, almost 13 years after the first was installed back in September 2000.
