Browns Hotel

To enter Browns Hotel today is to step back into a memorable, simpler, slower time of reassuring certainties. Browns Hotel thrives on an elegant mix of modern comfort, charming touchstones, Welsh excellence and its warm welcome. Built in 1752 as Laugharne's cultivated upper town evolved, The Browns' worldwide reputation is founded on the inspirational role it played in the later life of Dylan Thomas.

Given a Cool Factor rating of 9/10 by The Times, Browns Hotel offers individually designed rooms created with an emphasis on luxury and supreme comfort. The old dovetails with the new and we have been fastidious in striking the right balance between the period detail of this historic listed building, and modern facilities such as Wi-Fi and HD TVs.  The bar (which was Dylan Thomas' favourite) serves real ale and tasty bar meals.

Offering boutique accommodation, free wi-fi, inspiring conference facilities, a private car park as well as the care of our attentive staff, Browns Hotel makes the perfect venue whether you are planning a relaxing break or a business meeting or conference.

The New Three Mariners Inn

Welcome to The New Three Mariners Inn a friendly, characterful, tastefully modernised, 'pub-with-rooms'. Situated in the heart of Laugharne – famously home to Dylan Thomas – The New Three Mariners is also a great hub from which to explore the wonderful West Wales area with its celebrated coastal path, countryside, castles and beaches.

We offer tasty home-made stone-baked pizzas, real ales, real fires along with the warmth, character and atmosphere of a traditional village pub. We have regular live music and a large heated smoking area situated in the ruin of the 'Old' Three Mariners just across the road.

Our six rooms have recently been refurbished to a very high standard and three have views overlooking the fine Georgian buildings on King Street and Market Street. The rooms are clean, comfortable and have a definite 'sea-side' feel to them.
