How do you celebrate St David’s Day? Are you joining in the carnival atmosphere of the National St David’s Day Parade in Cardiff or visiting the St David’s Day market in the Hayes to browse the craft stalls? Maybe you’re planning to enjoy the Welsh music, folk dancing, carnival characters and drumming in Cardiff Castle grounds. Perhaps you’re attending one of the many St David’s Day dinners held around the country or just settling down at home and with a bowl of home-made cowl followed by bara brith and a Welsh coffee?
Some of our stockists are celebrating St David’s Day with special offers and some by serving expertly created cocktails (using our products) to their own special recipes. Staff at Penderyn will be out and about holding tastings at various locations. We’ve put together a list of what’s going on and hopefully you’ll be able to join in the celebrations with Penderyn.
The first event (a free tasting) will be held in Cardiff Airport lounge on 16th February, so if any of you are lucky enough to be flying off to the sun (or perhaps travelling on business) just pop in and see Helena who will be delighted to give you a free tasting.
