Penderyn Distillery has one of the best visitor centres in the UK. Learn for yourself the history of whisky making in Wales as well as more general Welsh history in our exhibition centre. Discover the secrets of Penderyn Single Malt Whisky, Brecon Five Vodka, Brecon Gin and Merlyn Cream Liqueur.

Opening hours

Visitor Centre is open 9:30 am to 5:00 pm every day with the last admission at 4:00 pm. In order to avoid disappointment we strongly advise pre-booking your tour by telephoning 01685 810650. Please note that we cannot guarantee to be producing and/or bottling every day.

The shop is open every day from 9:30 am until 5:00 pm.
Evening distillery tours available for groups of 10-25 by appointment.

Entrance Charges

Adult
£6.00 to include a tasting of two Penderyn products.

Sen. Citizens
£4:00 to include a tasting of two Penderyn products.

Student (18 years+ ID card required)
£4:00 to include a tasting of two Penderyn products.

Children under 18 years - Group Visit
£4.00 per person for large group visits by school/college students (Under 18's must be accompanied by an adult)

Children under 18 - Family Visits
Free (under 18's must be accompanied by an adult)

Groups 10+
10% discount on adult rate for pre-booked parties (this discount DOES NOT apply to Evening and Corporate Tours or any other concessionary rate).

To avoid disappointment we strongly advise groups to pre-book as during busy periods we may not be able to accommodate large parties.

Evening & Corporate/Premium Distillery Tours

Penderyn Distillery is delighted to announce that it is now offering evening and corporate/premium distillery tours and tastings.

Introduced by popular demand, the evening distillery tours are by appointment only and available to parties of 10-25 at a cost of £8.00 per person.

Corporate/Premium distillery tours and tastings cost £25 per person which includes a gift. Again these are available by appointment only and available to parties of 10-25.

Master Class: Whisky Tasting

For true whisky enthusiasts we strongly recommend whisky tasting with our Whisky Master Class .This will take approximately two hours thirty minutes and involve a guided tour where you will see the still room and shop floor and have the opportunity to taste a range of Penderyn Single Malt Whiskies.
