The Porsche Club Great Britain were the proud hosts of the European International 914 Meeting 2010. Visitors from all over Europe converged on the 914 village located on the banks of the picturesque river Wye.
Penderyn Distillery is supporting a fresh campaign to make St. David's Day a bank holiday.
Being Chairman of Penderyn Distillery undoubtedly brings many benefits and having the honour and privilege of being the first to make an entry to our new blog is one of them. This is a strange time in Wales with everyone anticipating a second grand slam in three years tomorrow.
March started with the celebration of St David’s Day at which myself and Robert Whittaker, our man in London, undertook a whisky tasting at the Wales Office in Whitehall. The Rt Hon. Mr Peter Hain was very enthusiastic about Penderyn and kindly allowed us to showcase three of the Penderyn expressions at his St David’s Day celebrations. Subsequently this was written about in Michael White’s political journal in the Guardian.
