Alimentaria 2010

Penderyn Single Malt, Brecon Gin and our other spirits are now widely distributed in Spain and Portugal by family owned company, Central Hisúmer.   Founded in 1887 and run by the De Fabregat Family, Central Hisúmer, as well as distributing fine spirits, also make a range of Spanish Wines and Cava and have orange and lemon groves at Orihuela, just south of Alicante.  The company offers the widest range of premium Single Malt Whiskies throughout Spain and Portugal.

Central Hisúmer has distributed Penderyn brands for four years and our Welsh brands can be found in the restaurants and bars of most major cities in Spain.

Sales of Brecon Special Reserve Gin in the last 12 months have increased by over 30% the Gin category is fast becoming one of the most attractive spirit drinks in the country.



Central Hisúmer recently exhibited Penderyn brands at Alimentaria 2010, one of the largest and most important Food and Beverage shows in Spain. 



Held over a period of four days, the Alimentaria proved to be very successful with Central Hisúmer's stands in Barcelona and Canary Islands offering the largest selection of premium whiskies and premium spirits at the exhibition.
